2025 A Time for New Adventures

Thanks, Mary Jo and Jane

wear the hat! Happy New Year. :-)

Annika plays on the JV team, but las night
she got to dress for the Varsity game!
She's on the far left!
Beginner's luck--I went to learn how
to play cribbage and I won!  Had some
great teachers, obviously!
Texas sky in January....before the freeze out on the 20th!
Cribbage 2. We played with partners this week
because there were eight instead of nine people.
We rotate after each round. This week I was third!
The hardest part is figuring out when you get points.
Played Bingo in the West park last night. This was
the first time I did NOT win, but two friends who
have not won before did win last night. Yay!
Bang, bang, bang went the roofers.  My head was pounding,
too.  They stripped off the old shingles, removed the
boards, and put new boards on the roof on Friday.
I wasn't going to go to Bingo at the Citrus Park
on Friday, but changed my mind and won $2.75. :-)
Old moldy particle boards from our roof!
"Supervisors" Bob and Jerry standing on Jerry's roof
watching the process and progress.
They finished the roof on Saturday!  For these shingles,
you do not need a shot...just a checkbook!
Hey kids, thanks for the puzzle. It kept me busy
on those cool days last week.  Finished it on Sunday. :-)
Cribbage week 3: Diane was second and won $1.00!
Went to the "Great Balls of Fire" concert at Sunshine
RV Park in Harlingen.  They played a variety of music
from the 60s era. Awesome end to January!
