Yikes, it's February already!

Well, this isn't really the first February event,
but I keep forgetting to take pictures
of all the pickleball and cold weather days.
We met our former park neighbor at The Olive Garden
for lunch and then Terry and I went line dancing
after lunch.  L to R: Wendy, Linda, Terry (former
neighbor) Pat, Irene, Betty, Ruby, Diane,
Brooke, and Nancy...all VIP ladies!

Bob took a pickleball friend from Toronto
to see the Space X progress.

This is the Rio Grande river where it
comes into the Gulf of Mexico at Boca Chica beach.
The little dots are Mexican fishermen along the shore.

Wendy got this great shot of green parrots
in the tree next to the pickleball court.
Pickleball players and card players
from the clubhouse came out to see the parrots.
Some of the treats at my birthday party
2=23=22 The Pier 19 restaurant on South Padre Island
burned this morning and reignited tonight.
Jerry & Wendy, Kathy, and Bob & Diane
headed to the island for some fresh air.
(Note: I didn't say sun because the sun
didn't come out until three hours later.)
Bob the biker rode up to meet us
from the south end of the island
to entrance #5 on the beach.
Siblings at the seashore
We went to the Meatball CafĂ© to eat
and to celebrate Kathy's birthday early.
On Sunday, the 27th, we went to La Hoya
to see a group of high school folklorico dancers
and mariachi musicians. This group was from
Lincoln High School.
This is the "Devil" who was eventually killed
by the dancers!
The costumes and dancing were awesome!
Vaqueros--cowboys and cowgirls
Princes and princesses
They didn't stop dancing for over an hour!
