May Blossoms.....

North side of the house looks just like we left it....
 But, something is developing....
"Bob the Builder" has a plan....
and he is busy making it happen. :-)
Progress on May 4th....

What a difference a day makes.
Now, I have access from the kitchen,
but no steps yet...just have to jump! :-)
May 8th, VE Day, and we have "stepped up"
to our deck.
And on May 9th, God "blessed"
the deck with snow!
It looked like a blizzard out there!
Sunrise at the farm... facing East
 North
West....and can you believe, after all this beauty,
it rained!
But May 6th brought "sunshine" in the
form of a new baby! Meet 6# 9 oz. Mary Kate!
Congratulations, Jimmy and Kelly:-)
 Trimming the green ash trees,
so we can stand up on the deck!
He might have been a little
too agressive with the "trim".
These probably won't need trimming
for another ten years. :-)
Finished! Thanks for the shirt, Donna! :-)
Went up to the lake to "camp out"
The cell phone works here, too!
The bricks along the deck are grandkids' footprints
made the year Bob turned 70
Kathy gave us her "Dish,"
so Bob put it up...but we could
not get a signal.  Spent one
hour on the phone trying to
get service, but gave up....
American Goldfinch in our trimmed tree.
They call them "wild canaries" out here.
 Mary Kate :-)
Getting ready for Bison football season.
Looks like we have to get another
footprint brick for the camper. :-)
I tried to find a picture of one
of our kids who might resemble Mary Kate.
This is as close as I could get. Guess who?
Our flowering crabapple trees always choose
the windiest day of the year to bloom.
This year it was May 28th.
On Memorial Day after Mass at the church,
we went to the cemetery. Father Frank
said a prayer, Bob shot the rifle, and
Kent played "Taps."
