August is here; harvest is near

Tom, Jett, Caiden, and Annika's

water ski team competed in the Division II

Nationals the morning of the 7th.  

Caiden (14) had the highest barefoot ski score 

and also was selected MVP of the tournament!

Their team took second place!

That afternoon, the family went to see

Annika in "The Little Mermaid"

The "volunteer" choke cherry tree

along our driveway produced this year!

Jelly making was saved for a cooler day!

This bunny found something tasty in our grass.

Guess I should have washed the window first!

Bob had been at Jimmy's helping harvest

for two weeks, so I drove down (240 miles)

to help Kelly and see the kids. Monday,

we went to the Grand Opening of the new

high school, got a tour, and ate burgers and dogs.

Kelly's parents met us there. Mary Kate didn't 

want her picture taken. Andrew was in the field

helping the guys. George was sleeping in the stroller.

Mary Kate needed to wash her toys

(and herself).

George was getting ready to run!

Ha, ha...I was just joking he said!!!

Matthew, Grace, Luke and I played 

a game of Sorry before I went home 

on Tuesday. Luke promised me that he

would not get mad if he lost. He won!!!

I got home just before the storm hit

and brought us an inch of rain. :-)
