May: A Blessing Every Day

Bob started the month by cutting down
the evergreen tree  by our duplex.
to be continued next week.....
We drove 50 miles to Devils Lake the morning
of the 3rd, so I could get my "flipper"...a temporary
tooth to cover the hole until I could have an implant.
Then we headed to Killdeer...280 miles in the
other direction.  Jimmy and Kelly's lane is often
taken for an oilfield road....thus, the sign!
That's me in the mirror taking the picture. :-)
Kelly has been getting rid of a lot of baby
toys and other stuff...Luke and George had
their own version of "Jack-in-the-box"
Mary Kate is thinking "out of the box"
Andrew's 18th birthday was on the 4th.
Since that was "Star Wars Day," he
had a cake with their motto:
"May the 4th be with you" :-)
We had a double celebration on Saturday since
Mary Kate's birthday would be on the 6th.
She requested a chocolate cake, but actually
preferred to eat some of Andrew's ice cream cake.
Gifts...
Diane's bakery was busy on the 8th. Two dozen
banana-apple muffins (half with chocolate chips)
and five dozen chocolate (half butterscotch)
 chip cookies.
