New in November

We headed to Trina's on Nov. 2nd
but stopped in Sioux City to explore
some museums that Tom thought
we would like.
Found this cool hearse in the Air Museum,
A lot of planes and old cars, and a history of the
plane crash in 1989 at the Sioux City Airport.
From the planes to the train museum,
which had a whole building full of engines,
and a special exhibit about riding the rails
during the Holocaust with stories by Sioux City
residents who were survivors.
Then we drove up to the shrine at Trinity Heights
where we found the sculpture of Mary,
the replica of the Lourdes grotto, stations of the cross,
and statues of many of the saints,
We tried a selfie with Jesus in the background,
and went inside the building to view "The Last Supper"
carvings by a local resident over a period of seven years.
He had his friends dress up and sit or stand in position
for a photograph, then carved the figures by hand.
On Sunday, the 5th, Jett and Caiden were confirmed
at St. Joseph's Church. Ari came home to be
Caiden's sponsor. Tom's sister Barb was Jett's.

and exchange, we had dessert! :-)
On the way to Jimmy's on the 25th, we stopped
to see this historical building in Ruso, ND. Don't
know whether it was a bank or a church, but we
did learn that Ruso was named by the residents
who came from South Russia (SO RU...RUSO).
Kelly's birthday is the 27th, but we
celebrated at her parents' home on the 25th.
Matthew's Confirmation was on the  26th.
His confirmation name is Michael. He is
trying to look holy here. :-)

Family photo before the brunch provided by the church.

We watched Claire's orchestra concert
on You Tube...She plays the violin
(just like Thomas Jefferson and Gramma Diane) :-)
Celebrated our 53rd Anniversary
on the 30th at The Ranch in Devils Lake.
