August--the wind blows in visitors!

Not at the farm yet, but Mary Jo and Jane
made it to Trina's in Iowa on the first.
and to Ana's in Minnesota that evening!
They arrived at the farm on the 2nd.
Mary Jo taught me how to make hummus.
It was better than "Joe's"!
Had to get a pic at the rock the next day.
Then we went to the duplex in town. Mary Jo
helped Bob organize the garage, and Jane helped
me put contac paper in the kitchen cupboards.
They treated us to supper at Dakota Farms.
Back at the farm, Jane learned how to make
Syrian cheese. This is the "taste test"!
On Sunday afternoon, we toured the
Prairie Village Museum and met Clifford
Thompson. After a couple of hours
at the museum, we went to the Little Flower
Corn Feed which is now held at Ellery Park.
Monday, August 5th: "On the Road Again"
heading southwest to New Mexico.
"Thanks for the Memories"!
My flowers actually grew this year!
Over two inches of rain this week!
Spacious skies and amber waves of grain
