Can't believe that my first August entry is on the 22nd...
no, it has not been a dull month--but busy. So far, the eclipse
has been the "high-light" (pun intended).

We had rain in the morning--
it stopped ten minutes before the eclipse started!
Obviously, digital cameras aren't for filming the sun,
but you can tell that part of it is obscured...
